In a busy auto shop, a cordless grease gun can make life a lot easier and more productive. Rechargeable cordless tools are everywhere these days and grease guns have joined the family. I would recommend this tool to anyone who is greasing on a regular basis from a professional auto shop to a construction company that owns a fleet of equipment.

The Lincoln Powerluber cordless grease gun is a great product for the professional mechanic. It comes loaded with features to help you get the job done.

My favorite feature is the two-speed switch that controls grease flow. This switch can be set to either give you high volumes of grease flow at 10 oz a minute at medium pressure or give a concentrated stream at high pressure. The high pressure setting will give you about7500 psi of working pressure! Your average grease gun simply doesn’t give you that kind of versatility. Lincoln claims that in controlled conditions this model can reach pressures of up to 10,000 psi.

The Powerluber is well designed

The design of the Powerluber is another feature that stands out. Lincoln does a great job building a balanced tool that rides well in your hand. It is comfortable to use and can get you into most places to apply grease. This cordless grease gun has a slot to accept an optional shoulder strap which I would recommend getting. Especially if your climbing around large equipment to grease it. With the shoulder strap you can let the cordless grease gun just hang from your shoulder and grab it when you need some grease. A shoulder strap can also save you from dropping it on the concrete and damaging it too. This unit also comes with a 30” hose that is long enough to get into tight spots. The grip is also padded which adds to the comfort factor.

Powerful Cordless Grease Gun

Lincoln put a powerful little motor in this cordless grease gun to make sure there is plenty of power available. A powerful 14.4 volt high torque motor is the power source behind this tool. It’s the reason this little jewel can pump out so much grease and give you higher pressures. The 14.4 volt batteries have enough juice to last and the smart charger can recharge one in under an hour. However, I would still recommend getting the model with 2 batteries. If you are using your cordless grease gun continuously, you will want to have the 2nd rechargeable battery warming up in the charger. This will allow you to make a quick switch and keep greasing. The Lincoln Powerluber is also easy to clean with simple access to clean out contaminated grease.
For the professional mechanic a cordless grease gun can be a great addition to your tool collection. Greasing can be a tedious chore, but with a Lincoln Powerluber, you can almost make it fun.
