One feature is that there are two independent brakes- on is an internal oil bath multi disk brake and the other is an external drum band brake. Each brake can hold 180 percent of SWL! There is a flange mounted overload protection device for safety, and a main air emergency stop included only in the air models. Direct lever control is another feature, with fine inching characteristics and automatic return to neutral when the brakes are applied.
