An Adobe Evaporative Air Cooler is made along very simple lines. A large absorbent pad is filled with water from a sump, and once soaked, hot dry air from the environment is blown through the pad. The liquid water in the pad evaporates and causes the air to become cooler. The whole system is one of the most straightforward on the market, but because the design of the Adobe product has been so refined over the years, it is remarkably effective in delivering the kind of comfortable temperatures that you want.

cool 36. This large model with a 36 inch fan has been designed for ease of use in a large commercial environment. Thanks to the large fan and thick cooling pads, it is effective over an area of up to 3,000 sq ft. It also comes complete with a 20 foot long power cable, so you will be able to place it in the most advantageous location for cooling purposes. The tank holds up to 11 gallons of water, and the whole unit runs off 110 volt power through a 1/2 hp motor, meaning that you will be able to run a very effective cooling system at low cost.
For a smaller environment, a 24” version of the Adobe Air Evaporative Cooler mentioned above is also available. The unit has the same power requirements as its larger sibling, but is designed for areas of around 2,000 sq ft, and so, would be ideally suited to most commercial workshops where space is a premium. This model is one of the most resilient and reliable on the market, and extensive testing has been carried out that has demonstrated a 15 year lifespan for the paint finish, meaning that the unit will continue to look good for many years.
In smaller environments such as offices, large Adobe Air Evaporative Coolers are unnecessary, and it makes more sense to use a smaller unit.
